“Jews of Silence” is the term coined by the famous writer Eli Wiesel in the 1960th to describe the lack of voice and action by the Soviet Jewry, which appeared to be doomed for national extinction.
The “Voice of Silence” is the name of my book, signifying the unprecedented revival of the Soviet Jewry, its struggle for the freedom of emigration and its victory against all the odds.
